Can’t Lose Weight?
3 Reasons You Might Not Be Losing Weight
Have you been trying to lose weight, but only seeing minimal or even no changes at all? Well, here are some simple things you might consider to get the results you want. With the right guidance, knowledge and advice you might just be able to tweak your current regime to make a world of difference.
1.You are not being as strict & consistent as you think –We all have different understanding of what is the ‘best food to eat’ or how much exercise should we be doing. We need to monitor our energy in versus our energy out, try using a food tracking app or the help of a food and exercise diary with a personal trainer or health professional as the goalkeeper. What we put in is what we get out!
2.You’re consuming too much sugar – These days it seem sugar is in so many things! Essentially sugar is an energy source found in several forms naturally occurring and man-made. If the energy consumed is not exerted in the ‘energy out’ phase ( by exercise I mean) the sugar is then stored in the body as FAT! The aim is to stick to the national guideline health standards for sugar intake.
3. You aren’t eating a protein filled pre-workout meal – studies have shown having a small snack before a workout that is protein based, can improve performance and burn more calories throughout your session and for the rest of the day. Try natural sourced protein before going for synthetic drinks or bars etc.
